Strategy
Whiskeysmith is the encourager of the unexpected.
Whiskeysmith launched its brand in October 2020 with a new and unique type of product: a flavored whiskey infused with real, high quality, and intentional ingredients.
As a new spirits brand pushing the boundaries with craft-first infused whiskey, Whiskeysmith has the opportunity to be a castle on the hill for flavored whiskeys in a persistently old-fashioned category.

1. #Whiskeysmith Flight Night
Digital Experience/High-Frequency Consumer Touchpoint's
To "Own the Unexpected", Whiskeysmith will launch a #whiskeysmith campaign on Instagram Reels and TikTok calling for people to upload a video of their unexpected best friend relationship.
Winners will receive limited edition Flight Kits highlighting the whiskey’s unique flavors and unexpected cocktail pairings so that besties can make more moments with Whiskeysmith in mind.
2. #Whiskeysmith Open House Party
In-person Experience/ Medium Frequency Consumer Touchpoint
Whiskeysmith will “crash” open houses with cocktails made by a live bartender, food, and games that truly showcase the liquor’s hosting potential with the Eventsmith's ideal home setup.

3. My Big Fat Whiskey Wedding
In-person Experience/ Low Frequency Consumer Touchpoint's
Whiskeysmith will launch a competition requiring participants to send them a video explaining why they’re an unexpected pairing.
One lucky couple will win a free, unforgettable catered bar and photobooth experience as well as a unique parting gift for them and their guest.

We established this winning concept from a brief given to us by the client Whiskeysmith. Against 5 other teams, we were able to impress the clients enough to be “dubbed” the winners! My team and I worked together flawlessly, and the experience was something that allowed me to grow as a designer.
